Ronit Simantov, M.D. is Chief Medical and Scientific Officer of Gamida Cell and serves on the Boards of Directors of Clovis Oncology and Tempest Therapeutics. Dr. Simantov previously led oncology Global Medical Affairs at Pfizer, and led the clinical development of cancer therapeutics at OSI, CuraGen, and Bayer. Prior to joining industry, Dr. Simantov served on the faculty at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Simantov earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine.
