The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, a Washington-based lobbying group, will hold its general membership meeting at the World Stem Cell Summit Oct. 4-6 in Detroit. Members of the alliance include large firms like Johnson & Johnson and Corning, as well as smaller venture-backed firms in the burgeoning field. Bernard Siegel, founder and co-chair of the summit and executive director of the Genetics Policy Institute, said the events panel discussions “are designed to address the needs of the life science investor community and executives from biotechnology, pharmaceutical and other regenerative medicine companies.”
