Michigan State University faculty, staff and students have the opportunity to take part in the 2010 World Stem Cell Summit, to be held in Detroit on Oct. 4-6 and hosted in part by MSU, University of Michigan, Wayne State University and the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
The conference, organized by the non-profit Genetics Policy Institute, will take place at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center. It will attract more than 1,200 of the most influential stem cell stakeholders from more than 30 countries representing the fields of science, business, policy, law, ethics and advocacy.
There will be more than 150 internationally renowned speakers, producing a unique international network designed to foster collaborations, economic development, technology transfer, commercialization, private investment and philanthropy.
