Instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School
Dr. Kai Wang is an Instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering concentration at the University of North Texas. He then did his postdoctoral training in Dr. Fabrisia Ambrosio’s laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh, where he developed an in vitro three-dimensional skeletal muscle aging model and a strategy to engineer extracellular vesicles for enhancing aged muscle regeneration. Dr. Wang has authored over 20 publications in high-profile journals such as Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, and Nano Letters. His current research interests include: aging muscle-in-a-dish, muscle tissue engineering, stem cell mechanobiology, and regenerative rehabilitation.
