Manuel Maqueda is passionate about helping other visionaries, innovators, and entrepreneurs make the world a better place. He has a strong background as an entrepreneur and innovator, a serial NGO founder, and a transformative organizational consultant, innovating towards a just, life-affirming, and ardent culture.
Manuel holds a Law Degree , and a Master’s Degree in International Economic Development. He teaches meaning-driven entrepreneurship and innovation at business schools internationally, including UC Berkeley and Instituto de Empresa.
Manuel is the Founder and CEO of KumuThrive, a San Francisco Bay Area capacity-building consultancy; and of its nonprofit arm, Kumu, an organization gifting free incubation and deceleration services to transformative social startups. Manuel is a member of Social Venture Network , a founding member of the Bay Area Wellbeing in Business Lab, and a mentor and ambassador for The Venture, a global social business competition awarding 1 million dollars every year.
